In an effort to move into the coveted mobile advertising space, Google, in its third largest acquisition to date, is buying AdMob a provider of mobile ad technologies for $750 million in stock.
AdMob, which employs about 140 people will help accelerate Google’s presence in the mobile advertising market and provide valuable mobile engineering and technology resources to the search giant.
